Planting Seeds of Confidence

At Graceville Centre, we’re not just supporting clients, we’re helping them thrive!

Through tailored NDIS programs from our Nambour base, our clients are building confidence, learning new skills, and gaining independence in ways that matter to them. For over 50 years, we’ve been here to provide disability and mental health support to people across the Sunshine Coast.

Program Manager Ola Olubiyi says, “We offer seven tailored programs that help clients set goals and build confidence, skills, and independence.”

Luke and Richard are great examples of this in action.

Wooden works of art

Luke, a regular at the Nambour Men’s Shed, has been working on a timber and glass cabinet. “The guys show me the next step and then let me do it myself,” he says.

He’s really enjoying the creative process and is excited about his progress.

Graceville Centre supports more than 140 people across the Sunshine Coast with tailored NDIS programs that help clients pursue their passions, learn new skills and live more independently.

Helping the garden to grow

Richard, on the other hand, has turned part of the Graceville grounds into a veggie garden. He loves watering the plants and, of course, eating what he grows.

With NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme support from Graceville, Richard has created a thriving patch of tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicum and yes, even pineapples, all nurtured with help from his support team.

“I enjoy watching it all grow, but the best part is definitely eating the veggies,”

These stories show just how much of an impact tailored NDIS support has in helping our clients live more independently, creatively, and confidently.

It’s all about creating opportunities for growth and connection, and together, we’re making it happen!
