Aged Care

Never too old to fly

Betty and Sylvia from Zion Aged Care at Nundah prove you’re never too old to fly.

They experienced iFly at Chermside which simulates the fun of sky diving.

Our lifestyle staff at Zion are implementing a Bucket List program where residents can attempt things they haven’t yet experienced in their lives.

Other residents have been on cruises, been whale watching and taken a helicopter ride.

Zion Lifestyle Manager Sarah Breen said the bucket list initiative aimed to instil joy and happiness into residents’ lives.

“Our goal is to enhance the lives of residents and enable them to enjoy creative and fulfilling pursuits and activities,” said Sarah.

“And it may also change people’s perceptions about entering aged care.”
