Lutheran Services & Mercy Community celebrate café launch

Lutheran Services and Mercy Community celebrated the launch of social enterprise café, Cookery Nook, which provides new career pathways in the hospitality industry for people with an intellectual disability.
Cookery Nook will facilitate skills development, boost self-confidence, and foster a sense of belonging in a safe and nurturing environment. Cookery Nook is now open for residents at our Alondra retirement living community in Brisbane, family, local community and staff of the neighbouring Lutheran Services’ Zion Aged Care community.
